About Me

Hi, I’m Troy—a home steward with a painter’s eye, a handyman’s skillset, and a caretaker’s heart. Over the years, I’ve renovated three of my own homes—older houses that I brought back to life with care, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of design. That hands-on experience taught me how to listen to a space and bring out its beauty.

Beyond the toolbelt and paintbrush, I’m also a writer, philosopher, artist, entrepreneur, and humanitarian activist in the regenerative culture movement. My journey has taken me through a wide range of careers—from business analyst at a Fortune 500 company to launching successful e-commerce businesses, to shoeing horses professionally as a farrier. I’ve traveled the world visiting ecovillages, volunteering on projects aligned with Earth care and community, and doing long-term house and pet sitting in places as far-flung as Thailand and Ireland.

At the core of everything I do is a simple ethic: leave a positive trace. I believe beauty is a form of care, and that thoughtful work—whether painting a room, fixing a cabinet, or tending to pets or a garden—can ripple outward into something bigger. Even as a guest at Airbnbs, I found myself naturally offering improvements or repairs. It’s an intrinsic gift: I see what wants to be better, and I love helping bring it to life.

Together, I believe we can transform the world, one space at a time—alongside our pets, our people, and the places we call home.
